We like to think outside the box at FutureHear and we've decided to extend that way of thinking to our project funding. This weekend marked the official launch of the FutureHear crowdfunding campaign. https://pozible.com/project/futurehear
We are aiming to raise $200,000 to fund our 3D printed prosthetic ear project for children with microtia (born without and ear or with an incomplete ear). We are confident we are going to get there but to do it we need you to join us in spreading the word and supporting our cause. See our fantastic platform below:
The crowdfunding campaign provides a fantastic platform for us to raise funds for our project and to also provide some incredible gifts in return to our supporters. These include 3D printed necklaces, gift cards and artwork, as well as tours and workshops in our 3D printing laboratory (keep an eye out over the next few days for another post to find out more).
We had an incredible time over the weekend launching our crowdfunding at the annual Australia Microtia and Atresia Conference which is held at Hear and Say. Associate Professor Mia Woodruff, Dr. Wendy Arnott and Dr. Sean Powell all presented alongside pediatricians and surgeons. We were lucky enough to also have Minister Anthony Lynham and Thomas Broich of the Brisbane Roar join us to support the launch.
We would like to thank everyone that was involved in success of the weekend and especially those who have already pledged their support to our campaign.
