We're now down to our last 12 days of our crowdfunding campaign and it has been a very busy few weeks with lots of engagement opportunities. Associate Professor Mia Woodruff was invited to present a keynote at the Brisbane Innovate Event on the 19 October in front of a large audience who was excited to hear all about the Hospital of the Future and how 3D printing is a disruptive technology in the field of medicine.
The Hear and Say team were also busy with the Healthy Hearing Symposium at the Princess Alexandra Hospital on Thursday and Friday last week. The team had four presentations in total including one from Dr. Wendy Arnott and Maureen Ross on learning outcomes for children with atresia and a brief overview on the FutureHear project.
Back at QUT on Friday we also had a special visit from Advance Queensland and Queensland's first Chief Entrepreneur, Mark Sowby. We loved being able to share what we are doing!
We'd also like to share a big shout out to all of our 137 supporters but especially Michael Eales and the team at Business Models Inc. who held the Flux event on the 13-15 October for their generous donation.
